Manual Spinal Manipulation: Gonstead and Diversified Techniques (Palmer Method) manual adjustment to correct subluxations of the spine and pelvis.
Pro Adjuster Spinal Manipulation: a machine that analyzes the patients spine with the use of software, the chiropractors analyzes the patient vertebrae via a bar graph, waveform analysis or vertebral resonating frequency. Once adjustment needs are identified, the practitioners can use the Pro Adjuster to adjust the problem area(s).
Supportive Soft Tissue Therapies, Supportive Therapies and Appliances
Ultrasound: ultrasound provides heat to the tissues, such as tendons, ligaments and muscles, promoting blood flow at the injury site. This increased blood flow is the main aim of ultrasound therapy because it allows large amounts of nutrients and oxygen to reach affected cell tissues.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS): The impulses are generated by a device and delivered through electrodes on the skin in direct proximity to the muscles to be stimulated causing the muscles to contract.
Massage: performed by a licensed massage therapist this hands on therapy to relieve muscle tension, trigger points and myofascial tenderness.
Therapies: Traction and manual muscle trigger point work.
Appliances: Lumbar belts, cervical collars, traction devices, rib belts, cervical pillows along with gel packs and Biofreeze.
